Supports and assists the Pharmacist in the preparation, distribution, and inventory control of medication and performs other duties as necessary for the provision of patient focused pharmacy services. Assists with training of pharmacy technicians, has been trained and is a resource person for specialty area and has an active role in improving workflow. Working under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, you will support medication preparation, distribution, inventory management, and pharmacy operations while developing the skills needed for a successful pharmacy career. You'll collaborate with an experienced healthcare team, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and play an important role in delivering safe, compassionate care to our patients.

What You'll DoAs a Pharmacy Student, you will:
- Assist with medication preparation, dispensing, distribution, and inventory control.
- Support pharmacists in providing safe, accurate, and timely patient care services.
- Accurately process medication orders and documentation within pharmacy systems.
- Compound sterile products using proper aseptic technique and established procedures.
- Help maintain medication inventory and identify outdated products.
- Deliver medications to patient care areas in a timely manner.
- Support pharmacy quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and safety initiatives.
- Assist with workflow coordination and communication across departments.
- Participate in training and mentoring new team members as appropriate.
- Contribute ideas and solutions to improve efficiency, patient safety, and pharmacy operations.
Education
- Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy and completing your first professional year (P1).
Licensure
- Registered and in good standing with the state Board of Pharmacy as either a Pharmacy Intern or Pharmacy Technician, as required by the state of practice.
