    Your Role
    As Product Manager (Operational/Commercial) at MilliporeSigma, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and availability of various products throughout their lifecycle. This includes managing day-to-day product-related issues, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining clear communication with customers and sales. You will also drive the execution of commercial and GTM activities working closely with the respective Senior Strategic Product Managers for their respective product lines.
    The role is focused on execution and operational excellence and commercial excellence, with a strong emphasis on responsiveness, process improvement, and customer satisfaction. The Product Manager acts as a bridge between customer/business needs and internal capabilities, ensuring that product decisions are informed by real-world challenges and customer feedback and that they are executed decisively.
    Key Responsibilities
    Commercial Enablement
    • Actively communicate and engage with customer application, manufacturing science and sales team in all commercial enablement activities involving existing portfolio products.
    • Lead the preparation and execution of internal and external product documents and monitor its value, impact and usage by commercial team.
    • Work across product lines to position our offerings as solutions for various modalities, unit operations and/or customer pain points.
    • Be an advocate of customers' needs and wants around existing products and contribute to their commercial success.
    • Support preparation of launch packages, collaborating with Strategic Product Managers for their respective products

    Product Lifecycle & Operational Management
    • Define and maintain the product lifecycle, including ideation, improvements, and discontinuations.
    • Manage product line inquiries and resolve issues related to quality, supply, and change notifications.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure appropriate product and inventory levels.
    • Create and maintain accurate product data in ERP and other related systems.

    Customer Communication & Support
    • Communicate proactively with sales and customers regarding lead times and product updates.
    • Continuously improve and execute customer change notification process.
    • Analyze customer complaints and ensure timely resolution or escalation.

    Risk Mitigation & Quality
    • Lead risk mitigation initiatives such as second sourcing and packaging improvements.
    • Represent business interests in quality and compliance projects.
    • Support product-related activities in ISCO and internal quality forums.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with Strategic Product Managers to define go-to-market strategy, value proposition, and pricing.
    • Work closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial, and other key stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
    • Represent the customer perspective in internal projects (e.g., e-commerce, labeling, packaging).
    • Partner with commercial, supply chain, regulatory, and quality teams to ensure product readiness and compliance.
    • Lead business process improvement project

    Who You Are
    Minimum Qualifications
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
    • Leadership: Proven ability to build trust, inspire and guide teams, and drive alignment across a complex organization; drive product and commercial outcomes
    • Business Systems: Strong understanding of business systems and operations (ERPs, SAP, SFDC, Tableau, Oracle, PRIMA, UNITE, Mango/CARA, Trackwise, APOLLO, Accolade, AI tools (AIMI, patent searches, Smartsheets, Lyntho
    • Cross-Functional Execution: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams to solve problems and execute initiatives. Experience in developing and launching technical products into regulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing market.
    • Project Management: Ability to scope out projects, and manage them to completion; familiarity with Project Management software
    • Experience: 5+ years in product management in the bioprocessing or life sciences industry.
    • Mobility: Willingness to travel globally up to 20%.

    Preferred Qualifications & Competencies
    • Advanced degree (e.g., MS, PhD, MBA) in a scientific or business-related field.

    Pay Range for this position: $125,000 - $191,500
    The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
