Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Mentro Point, you will engage in a variety of essential tasks, including:

• Conducting initial evaluations to assess patient mental health needs and formulating individualized treatment plans that address specific issues.
• Facilitating ongoing counseling sessions, actively listening to patients' concerns, and providing them with appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care and ensuring continuity between various services.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress, making adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educating patients on trauma coping mechanisms, stress management techniques, and available resources to assist them in reaching their personal goals.
• Staying abreast of current trends in mental health counseling through continuing education and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma and are grappling with various mental health challenges as a result. You will be working closely with patients seeking to overcome debilitating emotional or psychological hurdles, offering a patient-centered approach tailored to their unique needs. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) credential.
• At least three years of hands-on experience working with trauma victims or individuals with complex mental health issues.

Preferred Experience
