This is a full-time remote position that allows you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own setting while utilizing our comprehensive outpatient office resources. Your work will primarily involve virtual interactions but may also include occasional visits to the office for team meetings and collaborative care discussions. We value a work-life balance and uphold a supportive team culture that emphasizes professionalism and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect the goals and needs of each client while actively monitoring progress and adjusting approaches as necessary.
  • Document all client interactions, treatment strategies, and progress in a secure manner to maintain confidentiality and support ongoing care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic care for all clients.
  • Participate in regular professional development opportunities, team meetings, and case consultations to enhance clinical skills and stay current with mental health best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve supporting clients across various demographics, focusing on issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma. Mending Within Family Behavioral Health serves a diverse clientele, emphasizing sensitivity to cultural, socio-economic, and personal contexts. You will have the opportunity to tailor your therapeutic approaches while addressing the unique challenges faced by each client.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, clinical psychology, or a related field.
  • An active, valid LMFT license in the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience, with a strong foundation in therapy methodologies and an emphasis on working with diverse populations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong organizational skills to manage client documentation and foster relationships.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in trauma-informed therapy, family systems therapy, and advanced clinical practices will enhance your fit for this role. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapeutic techniques is beneficial as we adaptively engage with our clients in a virtual environment.
