MEDS operates a renowned network of emergency physician and APP peers across both rural and urban communities in the Midwest. Our physicians continue to practice in hospital emergency departments and hospitalist roles in addition to serving in leadership roles. Our physicians are deeply embedded within the communities they serve, working closely with hospital staff and administrators to collaboratively solve challenges. MEDS is an independent, physician-owned Emergency Medicine group and is pleased to announce the availability of a premier quality of life Emergency Medicine Physician opening in Southern Illinois. We are looking for ABEM certified physicians or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine board certified physicians with demonstrated EM experience to join our stable, privately owned group.

This opportunity is ideal for ambitious physicians looking to maximize their income earnings while also achieving a terrific quality of life.

- 25 Bed Critical Care Access Hospital
- Annual Volume of 6,000
- 7 bed ED
- BC/BE EM, IM, FM
- ACLS and PALS required
- 12, 24 or 36 hour shifts
- 24 hour onsite lab services, CT, US, Radiology
- Medical Liability coverage with tail provided

The Emergency Department of Chester Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hosptial. Twenty-four hour care is provided to patients of all ages.
