Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate clients' mental health needs, which serve as the foundation for personalized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, using evidence-based practices to address clients' distinct challenges and therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing effective therapeutic modalities based on best practices and individualized client needs.
• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide holistic and coordinated care for clients.
• Support educating clients’ families about mental health issues, enhancing their engagement in the recovery process.
• Maintain up-to-date, confidential records to comply with industry regulations and ethical standards, ensuring transparency and accountability in treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Medchoice Counseling Center, you will work with a vibrant range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and more. Your role will involve fostering a therapeutic alliance with diverse populations, including individuals from varied cultural backgrounds, ensuring they receive the respectful and personalized care they deserve.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Proven expertise in mental health counseling, demonstrating both theoretical knowledge and practical applications of effective therapies.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices applicable to a variety of mental health disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic skills, with the capability to form rapport and inspire clients throughout their recovery journey.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly preferred, allowing for insight into working collaboratively within a treatment team.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems that facilitate remote counseling and client engagement.
• Training in specialized therapeutic approaches or modules (e.g., trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
