Primary Care Physician
Our client in Eastern Washington is currently in need of locums Primary Care Physician to cover physician shortage/FMLA leave. This position is for precepting only. The majority of the physician's time will be precepting (supervising Residents).
Requirements:
- Board Certified (ABMS/AOA)
- DEA
- CSP, BLS, ACLS, PALS/ALPS, NRP
Practice Details:
- Will work at satellite locations
- Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 7a – 5p
- Saturday & Sunday, 7a – 12p
- Call is 2 weeknights + weekend home call
- Call back %:
- Weekday: 0 – 2
- Weekend:1-4
- Inpatient/Outpatient
- 80% Adult
- 2% Pediatric
- 8% Geriatric
- 8 – 12 patients per day – (inpatients)
- 1 – 2 Admissions / day
- 1 – 3 Discharges / day
- Direct and indirect supervision of all 3 family medicine resident physicians
- Direct and indirect precepting of resident lead care of inpatient hospitalized patients. Usually, there are at least one or two other faculty physicians precepting at the same time.
- EMR – EPIC
