The Meatcutter plays a key role in ensuring high-quality meat processing and customer satisfaction within a team-oriented environment. This position involves precise cutting, inspection, and packaging of meat products, maintaining sanitation standards, and managing inventory efficiently. The Meatcutter works under the guidance of a team leader during day shifts with no travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform meat cutting tasks accurately and efficiently
- Inspect meat quality to meet safety and company standards
- Manage inventory and ensure proper stocking of products
- Maintain sanitation in the work area and equipment
- Package meat products properly for sale or storage
- Provide excellent customer service when needed
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance to ensure functionality
- Stock shelves and organize workstations
- May be required to assist with other duties throughout store, including slicing deli meats and cheeses, preparing sandwiches, operating the cash register, and assisting customers.
