McGrew Equipment is seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to support shop operations. This role is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on agricultural and construction equipment to ensure machines are safe, functional, and ready for customer use.

Role Description
The Service Technician supports McGrew Equipment’s service operations by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment in a shop environment. This role works closely with technicians, parts, and management teams to ensure equipment is serviced efficiently, safely, and to company standards.
Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on agricultural and construction machinery
  • Utilize electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic knowledge to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Continuously develop technical skills through training, repetition, and hands-on experience
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with technicians, staff, and management
  • Maintain company tools and shop equipment, ensuring proper use, cleanliness, and storage after each use
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies in a safety-sensitive role
  • Assist with shop organization and workflow as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Educational amp; Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle equipment and materials.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) or more years of related experience preferred.
  • DOT Medical Card preferred.
Essential Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to seventy-five (75) pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
Note: This position is considered safety sensitive and involves regular outdoor work and may require standing for long periods, bending, and operating equipment.
