Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess functional limitations and design individualized treatment plans that address patient needs.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions, closely monitoring patient progress, and modifying treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
  • Consult with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless continuity of care and maintain clear communication regarding patient status and recovery goals.
  • Document patient treatment sessions and outcomes accurately within required electronic documentation systems, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff, including PTAs and aides, to enhance department efficiency and foster a collaborative work culture.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to ongoing professional education initiatives, keeping abreast of new techniques and technologies in physical therapy.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote physical therapy services and enhance public awareness of injury prevention and rehabilitation options.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele at our outpatient facility encompasses a wide variety of age groups and backgrounds, ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients. We specialize in treating individuals with orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation needs, chronic pain management, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our commitment is to provide patient-centered care that not only focuses on physical recovery but also on restoring confidence and improving the overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure in Physical Therapy in Florida.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a similar outpatient physical therapy role is required, candidates with a background in manual therapy techniques or specialized certifications (such as in sports therapy, geriatric care, or neurological therapy) will be given preference.
