Job description


MasterTech is on the search for a Heavy Equipment Technician in Milwaukee, WI.
The successful Heavy Equipment Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment (construction, earth moving, mining, aerial, cranes, etc.).
Compensation:
  • $35.00 - $45.00/hour, plus overtime after 8 hours/day.
  • Comprehensive benefits plan, including medical, dental, vision, life, short/long-term disability, etc.
  • 401K with matching contributions.
  • 2 weeks prorated vacation, plus sick days, holidays, and PTO.

Shift:
  • Day shift, Monday to Friday.
  • 8 to 12 hour days on average.

Key Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic.
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficient using scanners, OEM diagnostic software, and reading schematics.
  • Owns set of tools.
  • Valid driver's license.
