Job description

Directional Drill Locator (Subsite Specialist)

  • Job Type: Full-time | Underground Power Utility Installation
  • Role Overview: Looking for a skilled HDD Locator proficient with Subsite locating systems to track drill heads and ensure accurate placement for utility installations.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Track, plot, and guide the drill head in real time using Subsite locating electronics.
    • Communicate clear, immediate steering directions to the drill operator.
    • Verify utility marks, confirm visual exposures (potholes), and maintain safety clearances around live utilities.
  • Qualifications:
    • Hands-on experience using Subsite locating systems on active HDD jobs.
    • Strong reading skills for utility blueprints and locate markings.
    • Excellent communication skills and a valid driver's license. (Class A CDL preferred)
