Job Summary:

We are looking for a caring and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an individual with a developmental disability in their home and community. The ideal candidate will provide daily living assistance, community integration support, and encouragement to build life skills and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and accompany the individual to community outings, appointments, and recreational activities.

• Remind and assist with daily medication routines as directed.

• Maintain a clean and organized environment by supporting with housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and organizing.

• Assist with laundry and other light household duties.

• Encourage independence by supporting skill-building and personal decision-making.

• Promote social interaction and community engagement.

• Complete daily documentation and follow agency procedures for reporting and communication.

• Ensure all services are delivered with respect, dignity, and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (required).

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).

• Reliable vehicle and proof of auto insurance.

• Previous experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).

• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and required training.

Schedule:

Flexible schedule; may include weekdays, evenings, or weekends depending on client needs.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
