Margo Designs, a creator of unique women’s and children’s accessories and semi-precious jewelry, is seeking a Social Media Specialist with expertise in Pinterest and Etsy. This role involves setting up direct online shopping channels such as Etsy and Shopify, managing social media accounts, and expanding sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for fashion trends, be a proactive self-starter, and work from our Addison office to prepare for the upcoming Holiday season. The Social Media Specialist will report directly to the business owner.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage online stores on platforms like Etsy and Shopify
• Develop and maintain social media presence, including Pinterest and Facebook
• Monitor fashion trends to align content and product offerings
• Expand sales channels through innovative online options
• Collaborate with the business owner on marketing strategies
• Ensure timely preparation for peak sales periods such as the Holiday season

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in social media marketing
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
