Job description
Marcelli Steel, a trusted and expanding steel contractor serving New England and the Tri-State region for over 15 years, is seeking a skilled & motivated Structural Steel Ironworkers and Fabricator / Fitters to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Read & interpret blueprints, detailed shop drawings & specifications to determine the layout of structural pieces.
- Calculate material measurements & verify the alignment and dimensions of structural parts.
- Fabricate & Assemble Steel Components to meet project specifications.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in structural steel fabrication / fitting, welding, and/or manufacturing (min. 1 year preferred).
- Familiarity with welding tools procedures (CNC Plasma cutter knowledge a plus, but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and precision in fitting & measuring.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Capable of lifting heavy materials as required (over 50#) and working in a physically demanding environment.
- Eagerness to learn and commitment to safety.
- Must have valid proof of US Work Authorization.
- Competitive pay based on experience.
