Part-Time HR Manager | Contract | Naples, FL Pelican Bay Foundation | Managed HR Services through OneDigital

The Pelican Bay Foundation - the master homeowner's association for one of Naples' premier coastal communities - is looking for a seasoned HR Manager on a part-time contract basis. This is a hands-on role for someone who can step in, quickly assess what the organization needs, and get to work.

1099 Contract | ~80 hours/month | $65/hr | Primarily on-site, Naples FL

What You'll Be Doing

You'll own the HR function as a working partner to Foundation leadership — not just advising, but doing. Key areas include:

• Full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and new hire experience
• Employee relations - investigations, workplace issues, culture support
• HR compliance across federal, state, and local employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and more)
• Benefits and compensation administration, including open enrollment
• Performance management and manager coaching
• HRIS maintenance and HR metrics reporting
• Leave of absence administration
• Workforce planning and org development in partnership with the Executive Director

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's preferred
• 5 - 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
• Solid employment law knowledge; multi-state experience a plus
• Comfortable in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
• Someone who earns trust quickly and handles sensitive situations with real discretion

This contract is managed through OneDigital, a nationally recognized HR and benefits consulting firm. You'll work directly with Foundation leadership on-site in Naples, with OneDigital providing support and oversight.
