Duties and Responsibilities

- Monitor and improve the management of tools, equipment and production processes.
- Is an active leader and coach to team members by focusing on an environment for them in which to be successful

- Ability to identify root cause, implement corrective action where gaps to the goals exist - strong problem-solving skills
- Responsible for supporting new and current team member activities - performance, management, transfers, promotions and disciplinary processes
- Schedule work assignment to maximize efficiency
- Develop and monitor staffing plans to execute the schedule on time at the planned rate or better
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience in leadership or similar role
- Experiences mold maintenance & repair
- Tiq weld experience preferred
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Skills in MS Office
- Experience with implementing or maintaining PM and Maintenance Request Systems
- Experience with Arc-Flash, Hazmat and Fall Prevention requirements and practices a must
- Excellent organizing and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Working knowledge of PLC controls, Electric motors and drives, 3-phase electrical power required
Education and Experience
- Minimum 6 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Working Conditions
This job is in a typical manufacturing environment, to include:

- Torches
- Rotating tools
- Etc.
Physical Requirements
- This individual will be walking and standing at various times of the day, as it requires a consistent presence on the production area. Must be able to work at heights up to 100 feet.
