Job description

**Total Incentive Compensation up to $100,000-$105,000 per year, $50,000-$55,000 base salary and earning potential up to $50,000 annually**Summary

The Small to Medium Business (SMB) Account Executive identifies, qualifies, and develops opportunities within the small business segment. This role is responsible for generating leads through multiple channels, assessing prospect fit, and managing a healthy sales pipeline. The Account Executive conducts outreach, presents solutions aligned to customer needs, collaborates with internal teams to support a seamless sales process, and stays informed on industry trends to strengthen strategy and performance. Incentive compensation applies.


Role and Responsibilities
  • Identify and research prospective clients that align with the target market for the company’s products and services.
  • Generate leads and initiate contact through cold calling, email, networking, and social media.
  • Build strong prospect relationships through consistent communication, a clear understanding of client needs, and relevant information about company offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations that clearly communicate the value of the company’s products and services.
  • Qualify leads using budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT) criteria to prioritize high-potential opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate lead, contact, and activity records in the CRM while managing the pipeline to meet or exceed performance goals.
  • Address objections, discuss terms and conditions, and support the successful close of sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align messaging, offerings, and customer experience.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Gather client feedback and share insights with internal teams to support continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen sales skills and product knowledge through training, workshops, and self-directed learning.
  • Track key performance indicators, including lead conversion, sales velocity, and revenue growth, and take proactive action to achieve goals.
  • Build long-term client relationships by delivering excellent service, resolving issues promptly, and identifying value-added solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and the business by sharing market insights that support strategy and product development.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-focused approach in all interactions.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.
