Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW at Main Street Health Center, you'll have the following key responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive individual and couples therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the needs of each client.
  • Engage in active scheduling and maintain up-to-date calendars to ensure ongoing appointments with your clients.
  • Complete thorough and timely documentation for all therapy sessions, adhering to confidentiality standards and organizational policies.
  • Leverage our billing service to efficiently manage claims, and client accounts while ensuring smooth processes for eligibility checks and payment plans.
  • Support a variety of clinical presentations, employing diverse therapeutic techniques to assist clients in overcoming challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on clients ranging from children to adults, each presenting unique challenges and experiences. The ability to adapt your therapeutic approach to individual client needs is vital for fostering positive outcomes. Your expertise will contribute to the overall mission of supporting mental health and wellness in the community.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Possess a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology or Social Work.
  • Be licensed to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Exhibit professionalism, strong therapeutic boundaries, cultural competency, and self-motivation.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and effective time management.
  • Be available to work full-time, averaging a minimum of 20-25 hours per week, with availability for at least two evenings weekly.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with significant training and experience in couples therapy will be given strong consideration. We value therapists who are committed to continually enhancing their therapeutic skills and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
