Pay: $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, amp; availability.

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and physically capable Warehouse / Delivery Helper to join our team in Madison, WI.

This position will primarily involve moving furniture and mattresses, loading and unloading trucks, organizing warehouse inventory, assisting with customer deliveries, and helping keep the warehouse clean and organized.

The ideal candidate is dependable, works well with others, is comfortable with physical work, and takes pride in handling customers' furniture carefully and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture, mattresses, and other products from trucks and trailers
• Assist delivery drivers with local furniture and mattress deliveries
• Safely move and carry heavy furniture and mattresses
• Help receive and inspect incoming shipments
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory
• Pull and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup
• Safely secure furniture and other products for transportation
• Assist with unloading semi-trucks and large shipments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
• Follow proper procedures for handling and protecting merchandise
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers when assisting with deliveries
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures
• Perform other warehouse and delivery-related duties as needed

Qualifications

• Reliable and dependable
• Able to perform physically demanding work throughout the day
• Must be able to regularly lift and move heavy furniture and mattresses
• Comfortable working on your feet and performing repetitive physical tasks
• Previous warehouse, furniture, moving, or delivery experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license and good driving record preferred
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when needed
• Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment

Candidates with previous furniture delivery, warehouse, moving, box truck, or similar experience may qualify for the higher end of the pay range.
