Job description

DESCRIPTION:

A celebrated and iconic Westchester County boutique hotel is seeking a dynamic Director of Food & Beverage to oversee daily F&B operations throughout the property as well as oversee the upcoming opening of a second concept in Q1 of 2027. This role we be the General Manager of the properties' F&B Outlets as well as being responsible for overseeing all F&B activities throughout the property. This role requires exceptional organizational and collaborative skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple unique outlets at once. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial approach, a team-first leadership style, and an unwavering passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience as a multi-unit General Manager and/or 1 year Director-level experience with a luxury hospitality brand
  • Oversee all F&B operations across the entire property.
  • Provide strategic leadership to both Back of House (BOH) and Front of House (FOH) teams, ensuring alignment between culinary output and guest service standards.
  • Manage labor and food costs and develop scalable systems for operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with ownership and executive leadership on long-term business strategy, capital improvements, and company-wide initiatives.
  • Relais & Chateaux and/or Forbes experience
  • Proficiency in a variety of technology systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and a POS system
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and digitally
  • Ability to effectively solve and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and proactive attitude
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Foster a service-oriented, high-performance culture grounded in collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible work schedules: the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as business permits
  • The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects, up to 50lbs
  • Kneel, bend, or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; be on feet for extended periods of time
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • NYC Food Protection Certificate (Food Handler’s) required
