Job description

Join Mackenzie Health as a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in ICU care, where your role is pivotal in managing respiratory conditions for complex patients. Engage in both adult and neonatal care in a collaborative setting.
Your expertise will be essential at Mackenzie Health, responsible for the assessment, treatment, and education regarding cardio-respiratory conditions. Working interprofessionally, you'll carry out critical procedures such as intubations and tracheostomy changes while embodying our values of empathy and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory therapies
• Educate families about respiratory treatments
• Maintain effective workload management
• Ensure compliance with comprehensive safety standards
• Participate actively in team discussions on patient care
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
• Current BCLS certification
• NRP completion required within six months
• Proven communication and collaborative skills
• Strong ability to work independently in a healthcare setting
