POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated, results-driven Sales Associate to join the KDAZ team. In this role you will develop new business, manage and grow an existing account base, and create customized advertising solutions for local and regional clients. You will serve as a trusted marketing partner — educating businesses on the power of radio and helping them connect with KDAZ's loyal conservative talk audience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

●      Prospect, cold-call, and develop new advertising accounts in the Albuquerque market.

●      Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients through regular outreach and relationship building.

●      Conduct needs-assessment meetings with business owners and marketing decision-makers.

●      Develop customized advertising proposals, packages, and multimedia solutions (on-air, digital, events).

●      Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.

●      Collaborate with programming and production teams to ensure client campaigns are executed flawlessly.

●      Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs.

●      Represent KDAZ and MTD Radio at community events, trade shows, and station promotions.

●      Stay current on market trends, competitive activity, and the conservative talk landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

●      1+ years of outside sales, media sales, or business development experience.

●      Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

●      Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

●      Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational ability.

●      Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

●      Familiarity with the Albuquerque business community is a plus.

Preferred

●      Radio, television, or digital media sales experience.

●      Established relationships with Albuquerque-area advertisers or ad agencies.

●      Understanding of the conservative talk format and its listener demographics.
