Commercial Relationship Manager
Location: Sarasota or Bradenton, FL
Compensation: Competitive base + bonus (flexible depending on experience)
Overview
A bank is actively building out its commercial presence in the Sarasota / Bradenton market and is seeking experienced Commercial Relationship Managers.
This is a true market build opportunity—ideal for a banker who wants the ability to win business, get deals approved, and play a role in shaping a growing platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage commercial banking relationships across the Sarasota / Bradenton market
- Generate new C&I and small CRE loan opportunities
- Build and grow commercial deposit relationships
- Maintain strong referral partnerships with CPAs, attorneys, and local business leaders
- Bring in new business and work with a credit team focused on getting deals done
- Partner with leadership to expand the bank's presence within the local business community
Target Client Profile
- Lower Middle Market and Middle Market companies
- Typical client revenue: $5MM – $100MM
Production Expectations
- Ability to generate $8MM – $12MM+ in annual loan production (DOE)
- Strong deposit generation alongside lending relationships
Ideal Candidate Background
- 7–20 years of commercial banking experience
- Proven loan and deposit production
- Experience with C&I and small CRE lending
- Strong local referral network in Sarasota or Bradenton
- Active involvement in the local business community
