Commercial Relationship Manager

Location: Sarasota or Bradenton, FL
Compensation: Competitive base + bonus (flexible depending on experience)

Overview

A bank is actively building out its commercial presence in the Sarasota / Bradenton market and is seeking experienced Commercial Relationship Managers.

This is a true market build opportunity—ideal for a banker who wants the ability to win business, get deals approved, and play a role in shaping a growing platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage commercial banking relationships across the Sarasota / Bradenton market
  • Generate new C&I and small CRE loan opportunities
  • Build and grow commercial deposit relationships
  • Maintain strong referral partnerships with CPAs, attorneys, and local business leaders
  • Bring in new business and work with a credit team focused on getting deals done
  • Partner with leadership to expand the bank's presence within the local business community

Target Client Profile

  • Lower Middle Market and Middle Market companies
  • Typical client revenue: $5MM – $100MM

Production Expectations

  • Ability to generate $8MM – $12MM+ in annual loan production (DOE)
  • Strong deposit generation alongside lending relationships

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 7–20 years of commercial banking experience
  • Proven loan and deposit production
  • Experience with C&I and small CRE lending
  • Strong local referral network in Sarasota or Bradenton
  • Active involvement in the local business community
