Join a dedicated and safety-focused team as a Crane Operator, where your skills will directly contribute to the success of major construction projects. In this role, you will operate a boom truck and other heavy lifting equipment to move materials efficiently and safely across various construction sites. Responsibilities
  • Operate boom trucks, overhead cranes, hydraulic cranes, and other load handling equipment in accordance with safety protocols and operational guidelines
  • Secure loads using proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting and transportation of materials
  • Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections of cranes and lifting equipment, ensuring all safety features are functional and compliant with OSHA standards
  • Adhere to all construction site safety regulations and company safety procedures at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute lifting operations efficiently and accurately
  • Assist with material handling tasks, including loading, unloading, labor duties to include:  digging trenches, pulling wire, installing signs, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records of crane operations, inspections, and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement
  • NCCCO TSS/TLL Certification
  • Experience operating cranes such as overhead cranes, boom trucks, or hydraulic cranes in construction or warehouse settings
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, load handling procedures, and materials handling techniques
  • Knowledge of rigging practices, load securing methods, and heavy equipment operation
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and construction site safety regulations
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on cranes and related equipment
  • Background in construction, shipping & receiving, or warehouse operations is a plus
