PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR:
Growing construction company seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage high-volume, multi-state payroll operations for 1,000+ employees. This is a key role within the finance team and requires strong knowledge of construction and union payroll environments. This is a direct hire, in-office full-time position. (202 & 143 area)
Payroll Administrator Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle payroll for 1,000+ employees across multiple states
- Manage union payroll, including fringe benefits, deductions, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Handle certified payroll and construction-related reporting requirements
- Maintain accurate records for garnishments, levies, and benefit deductions
- Support audits and ensure accurate compliance reporting
- Partner with HR and leadership to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency
Payroll Administrator Qualifications:
- 3+ years of payroll experience in construction, manufacturing, industrial, staffing, transportation, or other high-volume payroll environments
- Experience processing multi-state payroll and union payroll
- Strong understanding of compliance reporting and payroll tax regulations
- Proficient in Excel and payroll software
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
