Key Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and store metal products and materials.
• Cut metal stock to customer specifications using saws and other shop equipment.
• Load and unload trucks and deliveries safely.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for pickup or shipment.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and material-handling equipment (if certified).
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stock counts.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Assist customers by locating and preparing requested materials.
• Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and workplace policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor.
• Basic knowledge of metal products and measurements.
• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with forklifts, saws, or warehouse equipment is an asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent is typically preferred.

Working Conditions

• Industrial warehouse or metal processing environment.
• Standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.
• Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
