RUSSELL FAMILY PHYSICIAN Work Location: On site - Russell Health Centre (426 Alexandria Ave S, Russell, MB R0J 1W0), Russell Personal Care Home (113 Arsini St E, Russell, MB R0J 1W0). There is no option to work remotely. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Anticipated Shift: Full Time, Days, Early Mornings, Mornings, Evenings, Nights, On Call, Weekends Daily Hours Worked: Various hour shifts (30 to 40 hours per week) Position Type: Fee for service Wage Rate: Compensation is fee-for-service as per the Doctors Manitoba and Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living negotiated rates.

Benefits are not provided, but may be purchased if the successful candidate so desired. Position Summary Russell Health Centre is a 32 bed acute care and 40 bed long term care facility. Services offered include Diagnostic, Emergency, Public Health, Mental Health, Home Care, Dialysis, and the Satellite Community Cancer Program.

Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a Family Physician to join the Russell Health Centre. Duties to include: performing all duties associated with a family practice, including diagnosing and treating diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients, act as the primary care provider and provide continuous care toward the management of patients' health. The physician will also share in the Emergency Department on call schedule and will cooperate and coordinate coverage with other physician colleagues.

All Health Care workers are required to be immunized as a condition of employment in accordance with the Prairie Mountain Health policy. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
