Job description

The Controller oversees financial activities at the two Madison Industries’ offices. Controller evaluates internal accounting procedures and systems and advises corporate management when revisions are required due to specific local needs. Responsible for training Accounting/Office Managers as required.

The Controller is responsible for prioritizing the activities of the Accounting/Office Managers to provide timely and accurate reports regarding the financial condition of the company. This individual ensures that all sales / use tax filings and other financial related matters, such as annual audits, are performed as needed. This includes assisting as required with any local, state or Federal audits. The Controller is the interface between the company and external auditors.

The position reports directly to the Company’s president in the Santa Ana, California office.
