Job description

Lux Electrical is seeking a motivated and dependable Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team. This position offers hands-on experience in commercial and industrial electrical construction while working under the supervision of licensed electricians.

Responsibilities

  • Assist journeymen and foremen with installation of electrical systems

  • Install conduit (EMT, PVC, rigid) and pull wire

  • Assist with installation of lighting, receptacles, panels, and devices

  • Support generator, service, and distribution installations

  • Follow jobsite safety procedures and company policies

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas

  • Perform tasks in compliance with NEC and local codes

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Enrolled in or willing to enroll in an electrical apprenticeship program

  • Basic understanding of electrical tools and materials preferred

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

  • Reliable transportation to job sites

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions
