About the Position:
  • Substitute Residential Counselors work a variable schedule. 
  • Residential Shifts Available:
      • Daytime (7am-5pm)
      • Evenings (2pm-12am)
      • Overnights (10pm-8am)
  • Counselors provide parent education, life skill support, and milieu management within treatment setting providing residential services to pregnant and parenting individuals and their children.
  • Responsibilities also include medication administration, transportation, and other duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with team of professionals to ensure high quality integrated services for individuals with mental health and substance use treatment needs.
  • Opportunities to provide nurturing care to young children in a fun and fast-paced environment.
  • Comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training provided.
  • Opportunity for supervision toward certification or credentialing as applicable.
  • Hourly rate of $21/hour.
  • $2.50/hour shift differential offered for overnight and weekend shifts.
 What We Look For:
  • Bachelor's degree in human services related field strongly preferred; individuals pursuing Bachelor's degree and with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience providing care to young children necessary.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment; flexibility, adaptability, and open-mindedness necessary.
  • Experience working in residential treatment setting preferred.
  • Demonstrates each of the following:
    • Ability to perform the essential job functions of the position either with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • Ability to consistently demonstrate Lund’s values of collaboration, compassion, empathy, integrity, and respect.​
    • Ability to understand and comply with operational standards, safety requirements, and employee policies.

    • Proficiency in the use of applicable hardware and software as required.
    • Ability to maintain a valid VT Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation is required; occasional statewide travel may be required.
