Job description

Job Summary:
Lumen Solutions Group Inc. is a technology consulting Services company based in Florida. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in enterprise networking to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure and security solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, install, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and related equipment.
• Implement and manage network security solutions including firewalls, ACLs, and object groups.
• Lead migration efforts from Cisco ASA to Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD).
• Configure and support routing protocols including BGP and EIGRP (MUST HAVE).
• Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot outages and performance issues.
• Perform firmware and software upgrades and routine network maintenance.
• Provide remote and onsite technical support to internal teams and business users.
• Test, deploy, and support new network hardware, software, and applications.
• Develop detailed engineering design documentation for integrating new technologies.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
• Participate in audits, quality reviews, and compliance initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 15+ years of Network Engineering experience in large enterprise or industrial environments.
• Strong expertise in Routing protocols: BGP and EIGRP (Mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Firewalls.
• Proven experience migrating from Cisco ASA to Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense.
• Experience implementing and managing new network deployments and firewall migrations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
Preferred:
• Active Cisco CCNP certification preferred.
• Other Cisco certifications are a strong plus.
• CCIE certifications is plus.
• Siemens CPIN-level equivalent certification is acceptable.
