Work Environment

This role is designed for a professional interested in remote work within the community health sector. As an LCSW, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while meeting the needs of your clients. You'll operate in a fully remote setting using our state-of-the-art HIPAA-compliant electronic health record (EHR) system and telehealth tools, ensuring that you have all the necessary resources to provide top-notch service. Regular clinical team meetings and peer consultations foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, couple, and family therapy tailored to the cultural and emotional needs of clients, employing a strengths-based approach to facilitate healing.
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments to identify clients' challenges and collaboratively design individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs.
  • Engage in case management responsibilities by connecting clients with additional resources and support systems, thoroughly bridging gaps in care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and state regulations.
  • Actively participate in weekly clinical team meetings, to share insights, contribute to case discussions, and receive peer support.
  • Respond to crisis situations with competence, and collaborate with other providers to ensure seamless continuity of care for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on adult clients experiencing various mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to complex trauma. You will encounter a diverse client demographic, which includes individuals from multiple cultural backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges that require personalized interventions. This diversity enhances the richness of the therapeutic environment and emphasizes our commitment to culturally competent care.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
  • A current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Nevada, or eligibility for licensure within 90 days of employment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient or community-based mental health settings.
  • Exceptional diagnostic, therapeutic, and documentation skills critical for effective client care.
  • Strong understanding of EHR systems and virtual therapy platforms is advantageous.
  • A profound commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and client-centered care is essential.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing therapy to individuals with a range of mental health conditions in a fast-paced clinical environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in utilizing telehealth technologies to deliver effective remote therapy services.
  • Background in crisis intervention and management.
  • Knowledge of local social resources and support systems to enhance case management efforts.
