This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations professional who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced industrial environment. You will have a direct impact on safety, production, equipment reliability, and the overall success of the operation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Team Leadership

  • Provide daily leadership, coaching, and direction to pit and plant associates.
  • Lead the team in achieving production, maintenance, safety, and project goals.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow Luck Stone quality-control programs and maintain established product standards.
  • Ensure the location meets Luck Stone's operational and appearance standards.
  • Build positive relationships with neighbors, customers, vendors, and regulatory inspectors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Technical and Operational Support

  • Oversee the extraction, crushing, conveying, and stockpiling of aggregate products.
  • Coordinate the service, maintenance, and repair of plant and mobile equipment.
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained according to company standards.
  • Partner with Mine Planning and Structural Engineering to improve safety, efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Support the continued development of team members through training, coaching, succession planning, and growth opportunities.

Business & Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Track and record production data using current software systems.
  • Maintain accurate safety, training, and regulatory documentation.
  • Work with vendors and inventory specialists to stay current on equipment, maintenance products, and technical solutions.
  • Monitor operational priorities and allocate resources effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • DMME Foreman Certification, Certified Competent Person designation, or the ability to obtain the required certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least two years of plant operations supervisory experience within quarry operations, aggregates or mining
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of plant operations, mobile equipment, maintenance practices, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Ability to organize people and resources while managing multiple operational priorities.

This position offers the opportunity to lead an experienced team, influence the performance of a critical operation, and build your career with a company that values safety, people, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Benefits start on day 1 of employment and include:

  • Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability
  • Paid time off: personal, vacation, holidays, 5 well-being days
  • Matching 401K and retirement pension
