Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented .NET API Architect to drive end-to-end technical solutions in a fast-paced environment. This role requires 15+ years of overall IT experience, including 6 to 8 years of specific exposure to API architecture and cloud solutioning. This is a hybrid or on-site position, offering the chance to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. You will act as a key individual contributor, collaborating with external partners to build resilient, cloud-native systems.

Experience & Job Setup

  • Overall Experience: 15+ years in IT.

  • Specialized Exposure: 8- 10 years in API architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture & Solutioning: Translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performing technical solutions.

  • API & Microservices Design: Design and develop robust RESTful services and microservices architectures.

  • System Documentation: Author comprehensive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.

  • Technical Diagramming: Utilize tools like Lucidchart or Draw.io to map architecture and system workflows.

  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with external stakeholders to integrate third-party systems seamlessly.

  • Independent Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues autonomously.

Technical Expertise

Core .NET & Database

  • Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET Core.

  • ORM Tools: Entity Framework.

  • Database Management: PostgreSQL design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

AWS Cloud Ecosystem

  • Serverless & Compute: AWS Lambda.

  • Messaging & Integration: SQS, EventBridge.

  • Data & Storage: AWS Glue, Amazon S3.

  • Management & Monitoring: CloudWatch, Parameter Store.

DevOps & Advanced Concepts

  • CI/CD Deployment: Harness (or similar configuration management tools).

  • Architectural Patterns: Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and monolithic decomposition strategies.

  • Resiliency Engineering: Implementation of idempotency strategies for fault-tolerant systems.

  • AI-Assisted Development: Hands-on experience with Cursor (or similar AI tools) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
