Lowe Rental, Inc. is a global, rental refrigeration, catering, and food service equipment company specializing in retail, events, and exhibitions around the world.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our Service team. This position reports to the Service Manager and will work closely with our technicians in both locations to diagnose, service, and repair our commercial refrigeration equipment while supporting the overall needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Service Manager and senior technicians to diagnose and repair equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform commercial refrigeration service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs to ensure equipment is operating properly and safely.
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine appropriate solutions while minimizing downtime and maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Inspect equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment to ensure they are maintained in safe, working condition.
• Maintain an organized parts area and assist with inventory control.
• Pull, package, and ship parts to customers and other Lowe locations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and parts room.
• Provide technical support and customer service by phone as needed.
• Follow all OSHA guidelines and Lowe QHSE policies and procedures.
• Work with vendors and contractors when necessary to support equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Travel occasionally to other Lowe locations, trade shows, events, or customer sites as business needs require.
• Assist with additional Service Department and warehouse responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• EPA Certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC/refrigeration experience.
• Experience working in a warehouse or equipment service environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration service, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while also taking direction and working effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Teams, with the ability to learn company-specific systems and software.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel occasionally based on business needs.
