Ideal Candidate

The ideal LHYH tutor is more than someone who knows the correct answer. We are looking for someone who can determine how a particular child learns best, explain concepts in different ways, recognize when a student is becoming overwhelmed or disengaged, and adjust instruction without making the child feel unsuccessful. The tutor should be dependable, compassionate, creative, professional, and genuinely excited about helping children build both academic skills and confidence.

Company Description

At Love How You Heal (LHYH), tutoring is about more than completing homework or improving grades. We believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported, encouraged, understood, and confident in their abilities.

As a Part-Time Academic Tutor with LHYH, you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful one-on-one relationships with students in Pre-K through 7th grade while adapting instruction to each child’s individual strengths and learning needs.
