At Love Power Equipment in Homosassa and Love Power Equipment and Rentals in Chiefland, FL we sell a full line of Power Equipment and tools, such as mowers, tractors, handheld tools, and construction equipment. About the Role:

The General Service Technician—B Class role is critical in ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of technical equipment and systems across various environments. This position requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing issues, performing routine inspections, and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and optimize performance. The Technician will collaborate closely with other team members and departments to support operational goals and maintain high standards of safety and quality. This role demands adaptability to work with diverse technologies and the ability to stay current with industry advancements. Ultimately, the Technician contributes to the seamless functioning of technical infrastructure, directly impacting overall organizational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a technician or in a similar technical role.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems relevant to the industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites within the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or certification in a technical field such as electronics, HVAC, or mechanical technology.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of technical equipment and systems according to company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Conduct routine inspections and diagnostic tests to identify malfunctions or potential issues.
  • Document all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and parts used, ensuring accurate records for future reference.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and resolve technical problems efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.

The Technician utilizes technical knowledge daily to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
