Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and group sessions, drawing on therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Engage in regular professional development sessions to keep abreast of the latest research in mental health and refine therapeutic techniques.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring client confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a holistic care approach that addresses all aspects of a client’s well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our team primarily supports individuals facing various life challenges, including stress management, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. We are particularly focused on providing interventions for populations that may have experienced trauma, substance abuse, or family dynamics requiring professional assistance. Your expertise will directly contribute to the emotional wellness and development of diverse clients throughout the Yuma area.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LPC license in Arizona is essential.
  • At least two years of hands-on counseling experience in a clinical setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of legal standards and ethical practices in counseling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients.
  • Experience working collaboratively within healthcare teams and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time LPC position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
