Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. Nights and Weekends may be required.

In this role, you will monitor the environment through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and ensure compliance with security protocols. Your proactive approach will help prevent incidents, manage conflicts effectively, and provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for all.

Duties

• Conduct routine hourly patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or irregular activities.
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee all areas of the premises continuously.
• Control access points using security systems, verifying identities and authorizations for visitors, contractors, and employees.
• Record hourly patrols & write detailed incident reports for any security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences observed during shifts.
• Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations following established emergency response procedures.
• Assist with conflict de-escalation and manage difficult situations with professionalism and tact.
• Support loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behaviors and preventing theft or vandalism.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and access control systems is essential.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures including first aid, and basic firefighting techniques.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Strong skills in incident report writing, conflict management, and compliance with security regulations.
• Experience in performing background checks or screening visitors is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with a professional demeanor to interact positively with the public and team members.

Loreley Resort - Helen GA is a large time-share condominium resort with a real down-home feel.
