Your Role in Transforming Lives
As a member of our team, youโ€™ll provide center, home, and school-based ABA therapy for children with Autism, applying principles of ABA to bring positive, lasting change. Every session is an opportunity to make a difference.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or completion of a 40-hour certification.
  • GED/High School Diploma
  • Reliable Vehicle & Medicaid Provider ID
  • Experience with Children

Compensation & Hours
  • Starting Pay: $18/hour (non-certified RBT) & $20+/hour (certified RBT)
  • Expected Hours: 35 per week
  • Annual Pay Reviews: Increases based on skill, performance, and experience.

RBT Job Description:
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional certified in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction and close supervision of a qualified BCBA Supervisor, who are responsible for all work RBTs perform. RBT certification was originally designed for settings in which a BCBA is already providing behavior analysis services.
Responsibilities
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Assisting BCBAs as directed with behavior reduction assessments and skill acquisition plans.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Communicating behavioral intervention results in students' parents and caregivers.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, center, and community-based environments
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Support the BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Participate in team meetings and training workshops.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Ensure that the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Follows the policies and procedures of Look Up Therapy, LLC.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Nurtures students' social skills.
Job Requirements
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Receive ongoing supervision that meets the RBT supervision, supervisor, and documentation requirements
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Background check completed no more than 180 days prior to the start date
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Adhere to the RBT Ethics Code and Self-reporting Requirements
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Complete an RBT renewal application every year, including an RBT Renewal Competency Assessment and fees, to maintain yourย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  certification
ยทย  ย  ย  ย High School Diploma or GED required. Some College preferred.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Effective oral and written communication skills
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Ability to occasionally lift 10 to 50 pounds
ยทย  ย  ย  ย Physically able to complete behavioral intervention and block maladaptive behaviors (as needed).
