Aftermarket Project Manager

Responsibilities

Lone Star Turbo is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our Aftermarket operations. This role is responsible for managing customer projects from order through completion, ensuring timelines, communication, and execution are handled effectively.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven, customer-facing environment and can confidently manage multiple moving pieces while working cross-functionally across teams.

Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage Aftermarket projects from order release through completion, including overhauls, parts, and rental projects. Work and coordinate field service group as required.
  • Quote overhauls, rentals parts with interface with sales.
  • Issue production work instructions to project engineering groups and facilitate factory processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during active projects
  • Coordinate with internal teams including production, engineering, accounting, and field service
  • Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution
  • Identify and resolve issues that may impact schedule, scope, or customer satisfaction
  • Schedule and coordinate witnessed factory testing with customers
  • Develop and manage project documentation, including IO&M and final report packages
  • Manage third-party vendors and project-related procurement
  • Coordinate equipment startup and project closeout activities
  • Maintain project organization, documentation, and communication throughout the lifecycle

Qualifications 

Required 

·         1 to 5+ years of experience in project management within industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments

·         Proven ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and customer expectations

·         Strong communication skills with experience interacting directly with customers

·         Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

·         Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

·         High level of organization and attention to detail

Preferred 

  • Experience in construction, industrial services, rotating equipment, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to understand mechanical systems and drawings
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an operations environment
  • Technical Degree is preferred but will consider relative experience and aptitude with attitude that matches our company culture

Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay eligibility starts after 1 year of employment
