General Manager – Brooklyn, NY

An established, chef-driven hospitality group is seeking a hands-on general manager to lead front-of-house operations in a vibrant, high-volume restaurant. General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a general manager in a high-volume NYC restaurant setting
• Demonstrated leadership with a hands-on, "lead from the front" style
• Proven success driving both guest experience and financial performance
• Experience with systems such as Toast, OpenTable, and scheduling platforms
• Deep knowledge of NYC DOH standards and compliance
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Passion for hospitality, food, beverage, and team development
• Previous experience developing and mentoring high-performing teams

General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee all front-of-house operations across dine-in, takeout, and delivery channels
• Lead by example on the floor to ensure every guest receives elevated, consistent service
• Manage and develop the front-of-house leadership team to achieve high performance
• Drive financial performance, including labor management and cost controls
• Oversee scheduling, payroll approvals, tip reconciliation, and reporting
• Ensure operational excellence across POS systems, reservations, and delivery platforms
• Maintain compliance with food safety, labor, and health department standards
• Partner with leadership to implement revenue-driving initiatives, events, and promotions
• Collaborate with HR on recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations
• Foster a positive and accountable team culture
