    Do you enjoy creating a welcoming experience, working with people, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? Join the Nutrition Services team at Logan Health Whitefish as a Dietary Aide/Tech and be part of a team that helps fuel our patients, visitors, and caregivers throughout their day.
    This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. Depending on your assigned area, you may help prepare and serve food, make coffee and specialty beverages, stock café areas, wash dishes, support meal service, or provide friendly customer service. Whether you're an experienced food-service professional or someone who loves working with people and is ready to learn, you'll have the opportunity to make a difference.
    What You'll Do
    • Provide friendly, welcoming, and professional customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers.
    • Prepare, assemble, and serve food and beverages according to recipes, production sheets, and department standards.
    • Support café and nutrition services operations, which may include food preparation, barista duties, dishwashing, stocking, and service-area support.
    • Keep café, kitchen, and service areas clean, organized, well-stocked, and ready for service.
    • Safely operate, assemble, and set up food-service equipment according to established procedures and sanitation standards.
    • Follow appropriate food safety, sanitation, and safety practices.
    • Accurately record food and equipment temperatures according to department protocols.
    • Complete daily preparation and maintain service areas throughout the day.
    • Provide patient meal service as applicable to your assigned area, which may include obtaining meal selections, preparing or delivering meal trays, and providing compassionate service.
    • Follow established procedures and Logan Health standards while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
    • Work independently when needed while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned based on departmental needs.

    What You'll Bring
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, recipes, production sheets, and established procedures.
    • One (1) year of healthcare or food-service experience is preferred.
    • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn department-specific software and systems.
    • A positive, service-oriented attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize, stay productive, and work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
    • ServSafe or Food Handler certification is preferred.
    • Previous food preparation, café, or barista experience is a plus.
    • Experience providing excellent customer service is preferred.
    • Ability to learn and follow recipes and food preparation standards.
    • Additional Logan Health training or certifications may be required depending on assigned duties.

    Shift:
    Variable - 8 Hours (United States of America)
    Schedule: 32-hours per week, Variable shifts and lengths, Some Weekend and Holiday coverage. Flexibility in scheduling is required.
    Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
