Monday-Friday

Hours: 3:30pm-12am

Shift Differential $2 more per hour!!

OVERVIEW:

 Lift Truck Operators are responsible for operating varied styles and models of Powered Industrial Trucks to transport, locate, relocate, stack, and load and unload finished goods, raw materials and other products within warehouse (inventory/receiving), distribution, and production areas. Lift Operators are expected to maneuver the forklift at a reasonable and prudent speed, watching closely for pedestrians or other motorized vehicles as well as fine manipulation with a respect to the preservation of product, building structure and property. Operating a lift truck is a specialized job that requires training and authorization by the company.  The Operator is expected to have the mechanical knowledge and skills to operate a lift truck in a safe and professional manner under all conditions

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS 

  • Maintains PIT certification.
  • Observes all Safety Rules and operates without harm to person or property.
  • Performs duties of general help and job assignments as required. 

 All Keeco associates play a crucial role in meeting our customer requirements and are expected after initial training to perform with minimal supervision. Associates may be asked to assist with other duties and work in other departments when needed to meet those requirements. 

 LIFT TRUCK OPERATOR DUTIES:  

 Duties may vary based on department assignment to include Distribution, Warehouse (Inventory / Receiving) and Kitting 

  • Load, unload, move, stack, pick, consolidate, and stage product rotation and storage of product and materials in Finished Goods and WIP areas, racks, bins or shelves according to predetermined sequence or product code. 
  • Assist team members in picking, staging, loading, unloading, rotation and storage of product. 
  • Replenishment from bulk to cases and “eaches” isles for pickers to pick orders
  • Order Selecting / picking for PAB, LTL, UPS/FedEx
  • Consolidating and moving inventory
  • Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions, as required. 
  • Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. 
  • Inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment daily. 
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods. 
  • Assist in physical inventories. 

 REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read, write and follow directions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 While performing the duties of this job, the associate spends most of shift sitting or standing, using their hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and bending or twisting their body. Associate will also bend, squat stoop and lift (typically less than 50 lbs.), reach with hands and arms, balance, and maneuver around production equipment throughout the shift.  

 Operator is required to hear and see to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

 Manufacturing / Production Floor: While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate however there may be areas designated as Hearing Protection required and provided earplugs are mandatory in those areas. 

 Not all areas of the plant and warehouse are climate controlled and exposure to heat and/or cold can occur. The Associate is frequently exposed to dust and floating particles used in the manufacturing, storage and inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
