Little Sprouts Preschool

We are opening up a second 2 year old class and are seeking a loving and nurturing Preschool Teacher to teach the 2 year old class. Start date in September 2026. 

Responsibilities:

• Instruct toddler-aged children in the 2 year old class in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, families and staff.
• create and facilitate lessons plans that are age appropriate for 2 year olds - sensory, discovery, hands-on learning

Qualifications:

• experienced teacher with the 2 year old population
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• able to positively work along side teacher assistant

Little Sprouts Preschool prides itself in the love and quality care we give to each child.  We focus on the whole child and take care to provide a safe and nurturing environment so our Little Sprouts can thrive to their fullest potential.  

Little Sprouts offers only morning classes.  The 2 year old students come for 3 hours a day, 3 days a week. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 9am - 12pm. The 2 year old teacher position is 4 hours a day, 20 hours paid a week.  Payroll is biweekly.  We follow the Northport/East Northport school calendar.
