About This RoleLittle Red Schoolhouse in Breckenridge, Colorado is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young children in a nurturing environment. As a Toddler Teacher, guiding children 12 months-36 months, you play a vital role in designing and implementing activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in our children. Little Red is a Montessori-based early learning center serving children infant-6 years and we have been voted best childcare and preschool in Summit for 19 consecutive years. We guide children through the joyful discovery of independence in a place where children learn care for self, others, and the environment We are seeking a full-time Toddler Teacher to join our fun loving and professional team.
What You'll Do- Develop and implement educational curriculum and care plans that align with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging experience for our children.
- Actively engage with our young learners, encouraging social, cognitive, and emotional growth through play-based activities and nurturing interactions.
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents, keeping them informed through regular discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Ensure our center adheres to all necessary policies and state regulations, upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Maintain a clean and healthy classroom environment, prioritizing the well-being and safety of our children.
- Commit to ongoing professional development, creating a personalized plan to enhance your skills and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
Requirements- Must clear full background check
- If needed, willing to complete 2 fully paid Early Childhood courses within the first year of employment
- Child care experience with infants/toddlers
- Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- Colorado Shines Level 2 Early Childhood Credential or ability to obtain within first 6 months of employment
Nice To HavesWhile not required, a background in Early Childhood Education, Montessori certification, or early childhood related coursework and experience with infants would be a valuable asset to our team.
