Job description

The Early Childhood Educator Level 1,2,3 plays a vital role within a medium-sized team of 4-6 educators, reporting to the Center Director. This position involves creating a supportive, safe, and engaging learning environment that balances play and academic focus. Regular communication with parents and guardians is essential to foster a collaborative approach to each child's development and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily classroom activities and maintain a structured environment
  • Support children’s development through play-based and academic activities
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and needs
  • Ensure safety supervision and enforce health and safety standards
  • Coordinate educational and recreational activities
  • Provide behavior support and conflict resolution guidance

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • First Aid Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience in early childhood education
  • Knowledge of child development and behavior management techniques
  • Strong communication skills and team collaboration
