Job Summary:
Responsibilities include providing nursing care to patients and families and demonstrating competent use of nursing processes. The Registered Nurse (RN) actively supports the LCHC mission of service and education. The (RN) provides nursing care through scheduled appointment panels carried out as Nurse Visit types not requiring a provider. Follow up nurse visits may include Vaccine Administration, Blood Pressure follow up, Diabetic Education, Lab follow up, etc.
Education/Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program. Must have current nursing license to practice in the State of North Carolina.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to interpret provider's orders and to formulate nursing plans based on instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Ability to perform a variety of nursing functions.
