Job description

At Lighthouse Electric, we bring professionalism, reliability, and top-tier craftsmanship to residential electrical work in the Louisville and Oldham County area. We specialize in new construction, remodels, and smart home installs, and we’re proud of our collaborative, respectful work culture. No mandatory overtime. No jobsite drama. Just a solid crew doing excellent work—and getting home at a reasonable hour.
What You’ll Do:
  • Install full residential electrical systems to NEC and local code.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints.
  • Lead and train apprentices on job sites.
  • Coordinate with general contractors and other trades.
  • Keep your vehicle and inventory organized.
  • Communicate material needs to the office.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites.
  • Take progress photos and documentation.
  • Collect customer payments when needed.
  • Represent Lighthouse with honesty and courtesy.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Active Kentucky Journeyman Electrician License.
  • 4+ years of residential construction experience.
  • Strong code knowledge and blueprint fluency.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to quality, not just speed.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team-first mentality and a positive attitude.
  • Punctual, dependable, and organized.
